What is the Best Time to Climb Mount Rinjani
The optimal trekking period for Mount Rinjani is from April to December. While April and December are shoulder seasons with a chance of more rain, the weather is generally pleasant from May to July. Rinjani National Park closes from January to March due to heavy rain and extreme conditions. Officially reopening on April 1st, the trekking season extends until December, offering ideal conditions for your adventure.

You’ll have a tent to yourself or share with your partner/friend/family, and porters will carry camping gear. While you usually carry your pack, an additional porter can be arranged for personal items (fee applies).
Luggage Storage and What to Pack
Store unnecessary luggage securely at our office or your pre-trek hotel. Pack essentials in a light daypack, including weather-appropriate clothing, a first aid kit, and personal snacks or drinks.

Water Distribution, Toilets, and Weather Expectations
We provide 3 liters of water per day per person, distributed at the start and on request during the trek. Private toilet tents are set up at camping sites. Weather varies, so be prepared for sun, cold, and rain. Rain jackets or ponchos are essential.
