Trip Summary

Day 0: Arrival in Lombok

Upon your arrival in Lombok, we will pick you up from the airport, your hotel, or Lombok port. We’ll then drive you to Senaru village where you’ll check in to your accommodation and receive a briefing about the trekking procedures. If you arrive in Senaru three hours before sunset, there’s an opportunity to visit the spectacular Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls.

Day 1: Senaru Village to Senaru Crater Rim

The trek begins from Senaru village, leading you to the mesmerizing Senaru crater rim, where you’ll set up camp for the night.

Day 2: Descent to Senaru Gate

Start your day by walking down from the Senaru crater rim to Senaru gate, a journey that takes approximately 5 hours. The hike concludes around 1 pm.

Senggigi to Senaru: 2 hours

Airport to Senaru: 2.5 hours

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Ascent 2041 meters from Senaru village to the crater

Wake up at 6 am and have breakfast at 7:30 am. By 7 am, we will drive you to the starting point at Senaru village, a brief 10-minute journey. Check in your ticket and begin the trek with our experienced team, including a trekking guide and porter.

The trek unfolds as follows:

Start from the beginning to pos 1, approximately a 1-hour walk. Take a 15-minute break here for water and a quick snack.

Continue to pos 2, a 2-hour walk. Take a longer break for lunch before moving on.

Progress to pos 3, another hour of walking, with a 15-minute rest. This leg of the journey takes you through a shady jungle.

After the rest at pos 3, embark on the final stretch to Senaru crater rim, a 3-hour walk. Arrive by 5 pm and revel in the breathtaking sunset view, featuring the lake and volcano. Our team will efficiently set up your tent for camping and prepare a delightful dinner for you.

Day 2: Descent 2041 meters from the crater to Senaru village

Rise at 6 am to catch the sunrise, followed by a hearty breakfast. We’ll then ready ourselves for the descent back to Senaru village, a journey lasting approximately 5 hours, including lunch at either pos 1 or an extra resting point. Our guide will coordinate with us to arrange transportation at the finishing point to drive you back to our office, typically concluding by 1 pm.

Post-trek, you’re free to retrieve your larger bag, and we’ll be pleased to transport you to your next destination for the continuation of your vacation.

Pick up and drop off at Bangsal port, Senggigi, Mataram, Lombok airport, or Kuta Lombok.
One-night accommodation in Senaru village before the trek.
Experienced trekking guide and porter to carry your food and equipment.
Food and drinks during the trek, including extra soft drinks and fruits.
Trekking equipment (tent, sleeping bag, mattress, toilet tent, cooking gear, camping chair, and table).
Entrance fee to Mt Rinjani National Park (150k/day/person).
Trekking insurance.

Guided visit to the waterfall on the arrival day if you arrive 3 hours before sunset.

Notes:

We provide sharing packages only if the reservation aligns with another group on the same day and time, with the condition that each member agrees to share.
For booking confirmation, a 20% deposit of the total price is required, with the remaining amount payable on the arrival day at our office (cash only in IDR).
The 20% deposit is utilized for booking the entry ticket and accommodation and is non-refundable.
